Yuvakudu - The spirit of youth

(Source : http://movies.indiainfo.com )

(BHOOMIKA'S DEBUT)

Starring: Sumanth, Bhumika and Jayasudha
Directior: Karunakaran
Producer: Nagarjuna and Sudhakar Reddy
Music: Manisarma

Karunakaran's second directorial venture though not as good as his first one, Tholiprema, will not disappoint the viewers. The film is all about a young man who wants to live life to the core by realizing his dreams in both love and career. The basic storyline of the film revolves around this point.

Siva(Sumanth) is the only son of Padmavathi (Jayasudha), widow of an Army Officer, who brings him up against all odds. Siva aspires to be an Army Officer like his father, but his mother is dead set against it. What's a film without a love-angle to it? So, we have Siva meeting Sindhu (Bhumika) and falling in love with her at first sight. However, Sindhu spurns Siva's proposal for marriage. Coincidentally, Padmavathi and Sindhu happen to meet each other and get close. Padmavathi, coming to know that Sindu is Siva's love, convinces her to marry her son. Sindhu, who initially agrees to the marriage only for Padmavathi's sake, starts liking Siva. Then, the story takes a different turn with Siva joining the army and Padmavathi getting upset. Sindhu stays back with her mother-in-law. But, when Sindhu starts seeing her husband without Padmavathi's knowledge, she feels betrayed and leaves home. Sindhu goes in search of her mother-in-law and meets her at a camp held for victims of bomb blasts. At the same place, Siva successfully thwarts a bomb explosion. When people hail Siva, Padmavathi realizes her son's achievement and joins them, taking the film to a happy end.

The narration is quite entertaining though there are lapses in screenplay. All the lead actors -- Sumanth, Bhumika and Jayasudha - performed well. Sumanth is at ease in both action scenes and dance numbers. Bhumika complements him well. Coming to music, it seems Manisarma has taken more interest in re-recording than in composing.

Theatrical Release Date: 27th April 2001 Kushi Links

Kushi is the only film, this year, in Telugu cinema industry that has got positive talk and expectations right from the beginning of the film. Pawan's maverick style of not entertaining the filmy people to come and see shooting did also help in attaining an enigmatic aura about how the film is being handled. The movie's release date kept on postponing owning to the perfection. Pawan Kalyan himself edited the film.
The movie was finally released on 27th of April 2002. Like Narasimha Naidu, this film too has got super hit talk right from the show one. All the film critics loved this film. But doomsayer's predicted this film to be a hit in metropolis and urban areas. But Kushi went on to become biggest grosser in the initial weeks in all centers alike. Surprisingly, Kushi created records in Ceded area and C centers too. At one point of time, the trade pundits predicted Kushi to cross Narasimha Naidu. But Kushi collections came down slightly after 50 days run. And finally, it became the second film in the 20+ crore bracket by lagging behind Narasimha Naidu by approximately 2 crores.
Pawan Kalyan improved his histrionics by miles in Kushi. He proved to be exceptionally good with his comedy timing. Though this film is one-man show, it also boasts off three other major contributors. Bhumika Chawla became the darling of masses by over night with her subtle and lovely expressions in that film. Mani Sharma has given his best work for Kushi in terms of foot-tapping songs and excellent background music. SJ Suryah gave wonderful screenplay to make the viewers glue to the seat with a wafer-thing storyline.
Producer AM Ratnam sold Kushi on MG basis. Later on he sold all the areas out right for an astronomical price. Bhoomika Chawla is flooded with offers from all big heroes after this film. She is accepting films with the top 6 heroes only. Pawan Kalyan retreated into his shell again and started doing the homework for his next film. It's been 8 months now and his next film is not started yet. Pawan Kalyan is a kind of guy who let his movie's success speak on behalf of him.

Cast - Nagarjuna, Sumanth, Sudhakar, Bhoomika, Pradhiusha, Chalapati Rao, Giri Babu etc.
Banner - 'Super Good Films'
Producer - R.B.Chowdhry
Music - Shiv Shankar
Direction - Bala Sekharan

The Friends movie in Malayalam and Tamil is the inspiration for Snehamante Ideraa!
Since it was a big hit in both the versions this one too evokes lot of hope among Audiences and Cinema folks as well.

Coming to the subject of Snehamante Ideraa,
Nagarjuna is acts as a well-educated person with jovial behavior. Chalapati Rao is his father. And Giri Babu is his uncle. Pradhiusha is his sister.

Nagarjuna has a close friend, Sumanth, his Nephew off the screen. He appears determined and is a character with strong will power. He goes to any extent for his friend, Sumanth.

While Sumanth is soft and tender hearted, he is optimistic and wants to be good to every one. We have Sudhakar the third person of the group. He is friendly to both Nagarjuna and Sumanth. Due to unfortunate circumstances, close friends Nagarjna and Sumanth get separated. Sudhakar is the only link between both. He tries his best to make them united like before.

Bhoomika acts as wife of Nagarjuna, who hails form a Rich family. She gets fascinated by Nagarjuna and marries him after a Love stint. Though she is more attached to Nagarjuna she appreciates his feelings and concern for his friends and supports husband in his mission. What happened exactly in the climax whether friends are united or not must be seen only on silver screen says Bala Sekharan.

Shiv Shankar has scored tunes with fast beat with a flavor of melody after his successful tunes for Priyamaina Neeku. Director, Balasekharan too is confident of Victory, as the subject has already proved successful in Malayalam and Tamil as well. Producer, R.B.Chowdhry reassured the subject has all ingredients to please one and all particularly fans of Nagarjuna.

Let us be ready to have a feel of Snehamante Ide Raa! Which is ready for our judgement on and after 26th of November through out.
